I just got off the phone with Cox to cancel my TV and to upgrade my internet to Ultimate. She told me that a tech guy needs to come out and install it for me. Is that true? Since its a holiday week, I just told them to upgrade me to Premier and I'll figure out a good day next week for someone to come out. I was hoping I could upgrade to Ultimate without having anyone come out at all.
But anyways, the lady also told me that there would be another price hike on our internet rates coming early next year. I was in shock! I told her, we just had a price hike in October. And she retorted by saying that I was wrong, and the last price hike my area (orange county) has seen was back in March, and the one in Oct/Nov, never got passed to us. So, the moral of the story is... You all should call in to get your rates locked for 2 years. Because, the price *WILL* go up.
