Cox used to have a self-activation page (I think it was http://activation.cox.net, which ends up redirecting you to http://activation.cox.net/selfactivation/walled/index.cox).
On this page you could self-activate a new modem, without having to call in to support. Has anyone used this recently? I tried using it the other day when I got my new modem, and it seems to only load 25% of the time. I have to reload the page several times just to get it to the first step of the process, and then it just plain gets an error. I thought maybe it was because of so many people trying to activate new modems due to the D31 rollout, but even now it still seems very glitchy. So, I wonder if it's just having issues, or maybe it's half-way decommissioned and not supposed to even work anymore?
