I've had a Western Digital 1TB DVR expander connected to my Moto 6416 for about 5-6 months.
Since day one I've had a problem where every so often - not sure but maybe 8-10 minutes, I hear the heads in the drive making a seeking sound for maybe 10 seconds or so. During this time, viewing is unaffected but can't do anything with the remote or the front panel controls until it's done. Very annoying when changing channels, looking at the onscreen guide, etc. Basically everything is frozen except video/sound.
Has anyone experienced this? I'm wondering if it's the drive or the Motorola box doing this. I guess I could unhook it and listen for a while.
