So last night I get home and find the tv and internet out. Eventually I put it together and figured out the wire had been ripped from my house.
Calling cox I found out that they had already "inspected" and authorized a workorder for today to replace the wire. Called at 3pm and found out from this person that the cox driver who inspected was working in the area when it happened.
Why couldnt this asshole who inspected just replace the wire? He went up the pole and actually disconnected the wire completely. Its now 4pm and they said they would have it fixed today but all day they have been talking about severe thunderstorms, flood warning, all kind of things starting around 4pm so im sure they will use that as an excuse.
Something else weird that isnt related. I have a tivo and a cox box. When i called and found out they had already inspected (Might I add I never called to have them inspect they did this on there own). They said They see no modem, and only one cable box online. Does the tuning adapter only report so often on there end and it would showup as a cable box?
I just found it weird the cable was broken and they said they could see one box.
