My internet connection has constantly and randomly disconnected throughout the five year duration of my internet service with Cox. The disconnection happens on average about 5-10 times a day, and lasts anywhere between 10 seconds and 5 minutes.
This issue has persisted through four different modems and three different routers, and also through a complete replacement of every cable component in the system (which includes the cable line from the telephone pole to the cable box, the splitter inside the box, and the cable that connects directly to the modem). Also, the technicians verified perfect signals at all of the points in the connection (including the signal from the cable line on the pole).
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this issue?
