So a few days ago I called Cox to come out because my internet was up and down all day. I had the rep schedule a tech to come out. She told me it would be $75 if he had to touch any of my EQ. I said I did not want him to charge me so he was only to touch COX lines and EQ. He told me that I had to much power in my line and he wanted to put a filter on the line. He did and charged me 75 to do so. After I calmed down I called the neighbors and they were having the same issue also. No TV, internet, or phone for them. They called a tech to come out and he told both of us that it was an amp in another neighbors house and he couldnt do anything about it until the other neighbor calls. We would just not have service until then. This service is unusable unless you like only posting in forums.
