i have the SB6141 and we get up to 200 Mb/s download. we could easily reach those speeds a few days ago. but i think in the late night/early morning of the 27th, around 11:00 pm to 2:00 am, my internet was out. the modem lost sync and was down for three hours until it finally synced up around 2:00 am, according to the modem logs.
ever since then, our download speeds have been horrible. from low 10Mb/s to the highest around 50 Mb/s. this was direct connect to the modem. at one point, a youtube video actually buffered with a spinning circle mid video. i never got that before. power cycled the modem multiple times, but it did not help to get the speeds back up.
i did notice the modem has bonded to new channel id's on the downstream. the channel id's are 9 - 16. previously, they were in the 70's and 80's. does the channel id make a difference? what can i do to get my speeds back up.
