I am using an Arris SB8200 on a SOHO account in an area where Cox says Gigablast is available. I do not have a blue light. I don't expect speeds to change but I did expect to be on DOCSIS 3.1. It took three calls to Cox to get the modem provisioned. Apparently tier 1 doesn't know how to do this, and one of the agents said that the SB8200 was not an approved modem even though it is on the Cox Business site as approved.
Does Cox Business not provision for DOCSIS 3.1?
