Hello!
I live in OKC and have the Cox Ultimate plan. I've had 7 techs visit my house to try to solve a constant 5-10% packet loss issue I've had for around a month and a half. The cox website says the average is around .11% so 5-10% seems huge.
Techs:
1. Ran new cables from the wall to the modem.
2. Replaced the tips on the cables.
3. Confirmed a packet loss issue, scheduled the maintenance crew who didn't come out.
4. Switched me to a new less-crowded tap and made a recommendation to change out lines running from tap to house.
5. Decided we didn't need to run lines. Confirmed packet loss and said it was normal then left.
6. Confirmed packet loss issue. Scheduled maintenance crew who marked it as fixed. Recommend I rent a modem from them.
7. Said 5-10% packet loss was normal and left.
Is there any type of info I can provide Cox to help move this issue along?
