Wi-Fi Router recommendations that can handle Gigablast?

I upgraded to Gigablast a couple weeks ago with a Motorola MB8600 modem, 1/2 off from B&H with a Rewards Gift Card. One problem, my Netgear R6400 Wi-Fi router is chocking on the speeds (cat7 wired) and only getting 1/2 a gigabit (first world problems :-)). Cox almost rolled a truck on it until I went direct. So, I bought a new Synology RT2600ac router. The Synology handled the wired speeds ok, but it was a complete flake on Wi-Fi, constantly dropping 3 out of 4 clients. Also, after installing their much touted Intrusion Prevention package, wired speeds dropped to around 150 Mbit/s and the CPU was maxed out. After two full days of troubleshooting, the Synology was returned to Amazon... Any Wi-Fi Router recommendations that can handle Gigablast? I'm not too concerned about Wi-Fi speeds it just needs to be reliable.
