I just noticed last night that my bedroom TV stopped being able to tune the last clear QAM channels. They had encrypted all the previous channels except the OTA channels in our area. As of last night started encrypting all channels including the locals. It really makes me angry that they had to go that route. I understand the need to migrate to all digital, that frees up bandwidth for more channels (right) and/or more data, but encrypting these last few channels (which were already digital) does nothing at all to save bandwidth. The only reason at all that it benefits COX, so that they can now start to reap the profits of leasing their crappy mini-boxes or force the average Joe to to pony up for one of their more expensive set top boxes. Just my $.02. I knew it was coming but it still doesn't make it right
