I've been experiencing some speed issues with tests reporting an average between 5-10 mbps down and 15-20 mbps up since moving into a new home in south Chandler (85248).
I have:
Replaced wireless router (thought my wi-fi just sucked)
Upgraded to a DOCSIS 3 modem
Tested speeds plugged directly into modem from my Mac laptop and found same issues
Tested throughout the day and found that one in five tests during the morning to early afternoon will reach 25-30 mbps down, but the very next test will be right back around 5-10 mbps. (using speedtest.net, scottsdale server)
I'm not sure what to do - an initial call to COX was useless, they just wanted me to clear adware and spyware (which I didn't have) and at the time I was banking on a new modem fixing it. Do I need to have a tech come out? What will they possibly do, my downstream, signal to noise and upstream specs seem great? Would love some input!
