For the past week or so, I have been having some unstable internet speeds. I've been monitoring my cable modem levels and doing regular checks on the DSL Reports Speed Test & Jitter test. I have been consistently getting E's & F's on the jitter test and no higher than 30 mpbs/10 mpbs on the speed test. I have the premium plan, so I usually get 120+/10+
Attached is my modem page as of the time of this posting. I reset everything about 6 hours prior to this, so all of those Correctables & Uncorrectables have come up over that short time.
Any suggestions? I have contacted Cox and the person on the phone says everything is within range. I was finally able to get them to schedule a tech, but ended up canceling it this morning because I got a call saying that some work was done in my area overnight and it might have resolved my issues. Sure enough, I checked and I got A+ ratings on the jitter tests and my normal speeds back. Naturally, about an hour after I called to cancel, everything went back to being bad again.
