Am guessing that the Cox forum here is the most appropriate for this question. Mods, feel free to move if it's not.
Most all of the better surge suppressors offer both coax as well as phone input and output jacks. I seem to recall a previous Cox installer suggesting against using them. Now, it may just be that the installer for my scheduled new install next week may suggest the same, or not.
If, in fact, their use is not recommended, why do Belkin, TrippLite and other manufacturers even feature them at all?
