I was wondering if there was someone from cox who would be able to assist me. I am noticing since buying my Netgear C7000, I get the blinking downstream light. Looking this up means that it is searching for a channel. I am a bit confused as my previous netgear modem (8x4 channel if I remember correctly) did not have this issue. I had temporarily rented a 24x8 channel modem from cox (the only one they had was with phone service) and it didn't have an issue. It also required a tech to come out and look at the line and he mentioned I was getting good signal along with the CSR I spoke to. This is happening on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights only.
I've logged in to the modem while it was blinking and it showed I still had good connection to cox. I'm at a lost as the event logs are not detecting issues.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated!
