I've lined up a rental in Moore, OK and need to get a modem bought. I'll be ordering Ultimate, which is 300/30 there and Cox seems to recommend a DOCSIS 3.0 16x4 modem. Based on their recommended modems my choices seem to be:
arris sb6183
netgear cm500
zoom 5370
From what I can tell the prices are all about the same, is any particular model considered any better? I see there are modems available up to 32x8 that cost more, but I'm not sure that'd benefit me much? I'll probably be buying a house in 1-2 years and who knows what I'll need then anyway, I'm just looking for a modem that'll take care of me until then.
