I just purchased a newly constructed home in an area where Cox is the cable/internet provider. I tried to set up an appointment to have my service established, but was told that my new home is "not serviceable." The local Cox office simply told me they didn't have that address on file and couldn't really help me.
I am very confused about this since the neighbors have Cox service. The address was previously an empty lot before my home was constructed, and I don't know if this has something to do with it. Does anyone have any insight on what I can do to facilitate this process? There are no other cable/internet providers in the area, so I don't know what I'm going to do.
Thanks!
