I recently lost my internet connection and, after the tech came out, it was determined that the main line running from the locked Cox box outside my home to the junction box in a closet in my home had a short. In order for me to get my internet back, which took 2 days to correct, the tech ran an entirely new line to one (1) room in my home. Now I don't have any service to the original jacks in my home.
I had a 2nd tech out and he told me, again, that the main line is my responsibility to have fixed. How can this be? This line starts outside my home and is locked in a Cox box that is only accessible by them. Everything I have ever known and what everyone keeps telling me is that Cox has responsibility for this line.
Do I need to contact a PUC in Las Vegas?
