[CA] San Diego: Connection quality issues beginning around 6AM PST 12/30

Getting intermittently very high RTT to the gateway. When I looked at my modem signal this AM, two of the upstream channels were showing "retries exhausted." I rebooted the modem and router and everything looks good, but still having major latency issues. Logs on the cable modem show repeated T3 timeouts before the reboot; nothing out of the ordinary since.
