We have just the "Starter" internet service from Cox. It's really all we need so far but lately it seems to have slowed down some from the 1.5 down/.5 up (Mbps) we used to see to 1.0/.3 Mbps. Not sure why. Cable guy dropped by for some routine maintenance and mentioned getting a DOCSIS 3.0 modem might help. (he didn't know what level of service we have though). Do you guys think we will see any (even slight) increase in speed if we get the 3.0 modem. I'd rather not have to bump up my monthly bill.
