I just bought a DOCSIS 3.0 modem. This modem appears to be next to its maximum power output and that has me concerned about what will happen when summer comes and the wires heat up and resistance increases. I'm afraid I will drop connection constantly. See attachments of the upstream power levels. It shows upstream 51 dBmV across the board. Also see attachment from the manual about the maximum upstream levels that my modem is capable of.
