I have one I hope someone can answer. Originally had no modem after watching TV last night cable went out TV popped back on and never got the modem back up. Checked dbmv at 6.00 pre and post Ber at 1.00 within specs. Checked wall plate fitting and replaced connector. Still no modem lock. Swapped modem still no lock. Called provider to verify provisioning. Ok. Toned wire straight to outside 4 way splitter on 3.5 dbmv leg to inside TV
outlet at modem. Replaced both splitters still no modem. Ran new drop tap values at 13.5 dbmv no other bad readings. Replaced with second modem. Still no modem lock. If I remove one splitter of the two way or 4 way I can connect online. Dbmv has to be above 7.00+ to connect to Cisco modem. Never seen it before. Can someone explain? All equipment is from cox communications. I'm also scte certified.
