OK. I've been testing off and on for days at different sites. My upload is always seemingly low for what I should be getting. I just tested from BryanInPhx's link posted in another thread, and the results were as follows. Last Result: Download Speed: 20340 kbps (2542.5 KB/sec transfer rate) Upload Speed: 13121 kbps (1640.1 KB/sec transfer rate) Latency: 94 ms Wednesday, January 22, 2014 3:22:44 PM A few more results from different sites and times are: Your Speed Result: Download Speed: 17092 kbps (2136.5 KB/sec transfer rate) Upload Speed: 13568 kbps (1696 KB/sec transfer rate) Download Speed 17.12Mbps Download Speed: the maximum quantity of information that can be received by your computer from the Internet. Upload Speed 12.42Mbps Upload Speed: the maximum quantity of information that can be sent by your computer to the Internet. Last Result: Download Speed: 20794 kbps (2599.3 KB/sec transfer rate) Upload Speed: 13754 kbps (1719.3 KB/sec transfer rate) Latency: 94 ms Wednesday, January 22, 2014 2:46:50 PM I am also running an ongoing speed test from testmy. net, up and down every 2 hours for 5 hours. Any ideas as to what I can do to get what I should be getting up and down? It's been too long a time since I had to monkey around with things like this, and while our speed is far faster than what it used to be with our past ISP, I really would like a faster upload as well and to get what I am payng for, or close to it. Could my upload be affected by upload throttling? And what does the following mean? Your speed had a 16% middle variance. -- JKK:-) Age is a very high price to pay for my maturity. If I can't stay young, I can at least stay immature! http://www.pbase.com/jaykaykay
