Ugh. I can't do ANYTHING with Google lately when I'm at home on my Cox HSI connection. Seems only Google services are impacted. And it's been going on a few days now.
It takes FOREVER to update or install apps from Google Play. Like 5 minutes to install a 500KB Android app. Took several hours to install an update to a large game the other night.
YouTube streaming is out of the question. It takes 30 seconds for a video to start playing and will start buffering after only 2 or 3 seconds and spend about 30 seconds buffering between each few seconds of playback.
I can't stream music at all from Google Play All Access.
If I use my Verizon LTE connection everything is fine and dandy. So it's not Google itself. Appears Cox is having trouble with pretty much all Google traffic.
Argh! I'll probably call Cox tomorrow. But this has happened before, more than once. And the person I talk to never has a clue what's going on and I just have to wait for it to sort itself out. What scares me is this sometimes goes on for months.
