I have been having huge problems with youtube for months. It is constantly buffering videos no matter what quality. I can wait 5 minutes for a 240p video to load, 720p or 1080p is usually out of the question. I've read other threads but it is usually time warner or some other ISP that they have a fix for and it never works on Cox.
If I tether my computer to my phone on LTE Youtube streams perfect with no buffering. I have Premier 50mbps and have no issues on any other site. I have also taken my router out of the equation and connected direct to the cable modem. My modem is a surfboard SB6120 and I have 4 channel bonding down and 3 up with great signal on both.
