[AZ] IMAP push/idle connection

I switched over from POP to IMAP (residential) and had to change my default android email app to K-9 due to the SentMail folder not synch'ing as it has better support for IMAP. K-9 states that it can push via IMAP, although I have not been able to get that to work on my SG3 - I can poll either manual or scheduled. Does anyone here now if this is a function of Cox's IMAP server - can it push? If so has anyone been able to get it to work on K-9? Setting>Fetching Mail>Push folders>All except class 2 ..........>Advance>IDLE every 24min & Poll when push connection checked Thanks Joe
