Cox went down in Tucson today (8/13/13). It just came back on again, which is a vast improvement over the full day it was out a week or so ago. As far as I can tell, Cox just doesn't acknowledge these outages--and, of course, their phone is constantly busy so you can't talk to them directly. And then there's the problem of Cox's service slowing down. I suspect they're just deliberately shedding customers when demand gets high.
Is there a way to get about Cox's monopoly on various sections of Tucson?
