I was in a Target that was right behind a cox solutions store today and decided to check out their hard drive prices and noticed they had the SBG6782 in stock as far as I know this is not on the approved list yet but it seemed to have everything one of my locations currently needs as one of its moca adapters recently went out... The specs on this was 8x4, wireless ac, moca 1.1, and though I don't remember seeing it stating this purpose on the box but read it in the specs when I got home, a usb port for attaching a hard drive. Targets website does not have it but best buy does and states it is in stock at all phoenix stores right now for about $20 more than the price I saw ($200-$220). Generally I prefer a separate router, but where I am thinking of putting it that location needs a new moca adapter (just went out last week, I'm taking a look this weekend to see if I can fix it as it is stuck on config mode), a new dual band router (I don't care about AC right now but might in a couple of years), and a docsis 3.0 modem (currently that location has an old linksys modem that is also on its last legs) and I could kill 3 birds with one stone with this device (they claim 4). I guess my major concern if one were to buy this is getting it provisioned, and if it were provisioned, would it somehow get a firmware that wasn't for that model or some firmware that disabled moca.
