[AZ] 85132 anyone with problems connecting during the day?

yesterday connection kept dropping all day i have a cisco dpc3010 from around noon to about 9 pm. all lights on modem green but i would lose my ip and when i reset and tried to reconnect it would only pick up 1 channel then try to pick up the rest and reset again, that's the only thing i could see from the modem page too bad i can't see more since it has the custom cox firmware. I stayed up for most of the night and everything worked great netflix and videogames and everything. the reason i ask here is because when i called their support line they said it was the modem, but i dont believe that due to it working all night long with no resets or ip losses. Any ideas? they recommended i schedule a tech visit and replace modem for a fee i believe tech visit has a fee also.
