My girlfriend and I recently transferred our service to a new home. Today the self-install instructions came and we hooked up the modem that had been working at our old residence and it has yet to get any kind of signal.
My girlfriend purportedly was able to go through the activation process from our connection at some point (I think her laptop was on another router) and tried to register. Since I've been home we've had absolutely no signal of any kind.
Is there anything else I can try other than beg Cox to send a technician out?
