Tuning adapter blinking lights

My tuning adapter is blinking twice pausing and then repeating. I chatted with support and they think it is a signal issue outside my house, and are sending someone outside tomorrow but not to check my equipment, but half the channels still work. I think the tuning adapter just needs to be replaced.
