Only thing I'm on the fence about upgrading to DOCSIS 3.1 Gigablast 100/35 is the paltry upstream speed bump. I don't think I'd notice any difference between existing 300/30 and 1000/35.
I see references to full duplex DOCSIS, but that seems a long time away.
Is there any intermediate steps expected between 1000/35 being rolled out and long term full duplex docsis? For example, an upstream OFDM channel?
