Cox Home Internet and L2TP VPN

I have a USG router and home and work VPN works fine at work with cox, but the same setup will not work at home, called Cox and Ubiquiti support and they said it should work and nothing blocked. I currently have Gigablast with a SB8200 with no luck, how ever my Synology NAS works fine outside. Im out of ideas please help Thanks
