Back at the end of last year (2017), my area was forced to switch over to a phone modem instead of using the "outdated" NIU box on the outside of house. So after waiting out to the very end I finally made the appointment to cox come out and hookup the phone modem and provision it as well as they were suppose to go up the pole and disconnect the line voltage from the coming from the tap. The contractors that did the work said that it was to dark out at the time and they would come back at a later time and go up the pole. Its been three months since and yesterday I was out tiding up the coax on side out house and I measured for voltage within the old niu and I still have voltage coming through my drop and into the box (85 volts at the time).
My question is which department would I need to contact to have this resolved. Thanks!
