Am I the only one that thinks that the series of Gigablast commercials with kids are getting creepier and creepier?
First it was the smarmy house that talks to the kid in "soothing" tones. Please - tell your kids not to do ANYTHING that that guy asks you to do, and call mom/dad/a cop right away!
Now, "Bella".
I guess whoever came up with the latter is too young to know about "Talky Tina"...

Besides the creepiness, these seem targeted at kids - trying to get them to pester their parents to buy Cox services.

BTW, Cox locked this topic on their own support forum. At least they didn't outright censor it.

I posted it to the TV forum there, rather than Internet, as they are saturation-advertising with these creepy ads, so thought it most appropriate for the TV forum.

For those who have not seen them:
1. Creepy smooth-talking male voice tries to convince the little boy that he is the house talking, and he will "take care" of him, talks about "you and me" and "what we are going to do together" and how "everything is going to be alright" (I am paraphrasing) etc. I think some tie-in with Cox security services as well.
2. Little girl, "Bella" sitting at a piano with a talking teddy-bear doll. The doll is also playing the piano with her. Grandma is on the other end with her futuristic VR-enabled tablet, "playing" the piano in mid-air. When her hand moves, the teddy-bear's hand moves. When she speaks, the teddy-bear speaks, and it's mouth moves.
This is the dystopian future Cox is selling! Somebody there thinks this is appealing.
