help request from anyone familiar w/ARRIS TG1682 gateway

I had contacted Cox regarding some issues our area had experienced with TV and internet and disputing their record of our data usage. Perhaps due to the recent cold weather we've been having---or perhaps not---the reasons for the service interruption aren't relevant; the point is that despite these interruptions which went on for most of an entire day, Cox data usage has us consuming data on a par as if these service interruptions did not exist. Cox's email response both stated and asked: The usage meter doesn't report which device is consuming data, but if you have a tool on your router displaying different usage data, then that may help track where the usage is coming from. My question is, does the Arris/Cox Panoramic TG1682 gateway have such a utility to generate such a report or log that I can generate, save and forward to Cox? When opening 192.168.100.1 and clicking the HSG tab on top the RF Parameters log opens by default. Other available tab options are HW/FW Versions, Event Log, CM State, Wireless and Advanced, though on every attempt on "Advanced" I'm stymied as I don't know the password of the day. I'm convinced I'm not the only one who has questioned the accuracy of Cox data usage reporting. Up to now, our routine daily usage has always wound up below the cap by the time the bill is due and hasn't been an issue. That routine has not, repeat not, changed---we still aren't gamers, don't do P2P, transfer back and forth to cloud services or download movies but at the rate Cox has us gobbling up data it's either provide documentary evidence ourselves of miscalculation or be prepared to be bent over for overage charges and/or pony up the extra $50 a month for unlimited.
