If you check my post history, I asked about a year ago for options when they instituted caps in the Gainesville area. Having no choice, I went into a small business plan and had my speeds drop to 25mpbs. No contract pricing was $144/month -- I held out 3 months thinking the cap would go away or they'd offer a non-cap tier but gave up and went with the three year contract for $89/month.
Now that you can buy unlimited, is there any chance I could get the remaining 24 months transferred back to a residential plan under contract with unlimited? I wouldn't even know how to ask that to a rep or if it's possible. They waived my residential contract term fee when I switched over to business since I really wasn't leaving them. Anyone have suggestions, know a rep that can do this, or other ideas? The contract term fee for me is $2314 as of the end of this month.
I lost my promo pricing with PS Vue, so I'm hoping a residential combo plan will get my TV+Internet costs under control again. I also need something with faster upstream to move files on the vpn, right now it's almost quicker for me to drive to the library and use the WiFi for large xfers.
