I know recently with my rant on the poor upload speeds I listed the equipment without stating if I tried different modems which had me arguing with some about my findings in why the upload speed was so bad and I had messed up on some wording that made it sound like I was lying about replacing it when I did. So I need help my family consists of gamers and I need recommendations for new modems and a router that is affordable and doesn't have the puma 6 chipset. I am a hardcore gamer myself and I like to stream and all. I did switch my isp to google fiber and I will be settling there very soon but my family still has the modem SB6190 that they rent from cox which from which I heard was terrible and had lots of latency issues and packet loss and bandwidth drops when using the internet a lot can anyone assist me and give me some knowledge? :)
