So I was surprised to see an email with a Cox bill of $269.98 come in. I only have Internet (albeit Gigablast 3.1 and unlimited). Did my autopay break and this is two months, or something?
Nope. It's both a usage charge *and* an unlimited data plan charge:

I spent 45 minutes on a chat, to no avail. I was hoping the chat would be easier to paste in details, but they can't click links for any email/etc screenshots anyway, so wasn't much help.
At first, they said it was August:

When I pasted in details that, no, grace period extended through October, they said it was some time in November. This at least makes some sense--when I upgraded to Gigablast, the sales rep told me that unlimited data was included in the plan, and he removed it. Pretty sure this was him confusing fiber Gigablast with the 3.1 offering, but this is what my data usage meter looked like after upgrading:

At the start of the next billing cycle, though, I received a data usage warning and re-added the unlimited plan online.
Moral of the story: Double-check you have a valid unlimited data plan, because if you don't, I guess you just double-pay (the support rep kept all charges intact). Also, if you think the sales person has bad info, they probably do.
