Can anyone explain to me how to successfully setup Filter Rules with the new web email?
I have had a noticeable uptick in SPAM email eversince the change to the new mail system. As a result I have been trying to setup email Filter Rules but to no noticeable avail. I guess I need some help because there is a lack of information on the email and internet support web pages.
The two screen shots are from a recent SPAM email. I have tried a number of various combinations including what I thought were wild cards in the sender address but nothing seems to work. Email is not discarded if it meets any of the criteria I setup.
So I have a Filter Rule as seen in the last screen shot. Low and behold I get two (2) messages in the SPAM folder this morning. The rule clearly says to DISCARD the message. So what is going on. I have also received numerous other SPAM messages in our email this morning. Please note I have blanked my name from the start of the SUBJECT > CONTAINS field so I could post the screen shot.
It appears the FILTER RULES simply do NOT WORK...
Also Blocking email addresses of the senders does not work. I keep getting SPAM from email addresses already in my Blocked list but they keep on coming...
