I live in Mountain Vail Ranch In Tucson, AZ. Anyone know what's going on with Gigablast fiber out here? Some parts of the subdivision have it. In my part they ran the fiber to the green box's outside of the home but never turned them up. This was about 6 months back. When you do an address search it says that gigablast is not available.
They littered the neighborhood with pamphlets that they were doing upgrades for Gigablast a year ago when they changed out all of the boxes for it. Now we seem to be forgotten. It's fine with me as I'm happy having Century Link gigabit fiber with no cap for 79.99 a month, but it's nice to have another option should I want to swap to Cox's fiber.
Cox certainly isn't winning anyone here.
