So I'm in Northern RI, and I don't know what's going on, but I've been experiencing a ton of outages in the past month. Last night was the 3rd or 4th time this month that we've lost internet for 2+ hours. Before this outage, we lost TV + Internet for around 3 hours. The modem will randomly start filling the log with Unicast Maintenance Ranging Errors, eventually the modem will then reset, and then sit there for 1-2 hours trying to "Obtain Upstream Parameters".
This is getting absurd, especially since it always seems to happen in the evening. We pay way too much to be having such frequent outages. Can anyone from Cox comment as to what's going on in this area?
