Hello all!
I wasn't sure if there was a few cox engineers on the LA forum but I'd figure I would roll the dice.
I noticed that when I go on the cox site to check if gigablast is available, internet speeds, and how close I am getting to my cap. (says I'm still in grace period and haven't yet received a notification from the last two months when I went over). One thing that throws me off is the site says Service Interruption but minus yesterday's outage. I haven't had that many issues. My ultimate plan maxes out with the ultimate on speedtest.net to Lafayette, LA from my place. I've confirmed my bill is all paid for this month and will have a credit too cover my bill next month. (Attachment is CoxScreenshot.PNG for what I see on the site)
I had techs come about 2 weeks ago cause every evening around 7pm to 9pm, my speed would drop to a crawl. They assumed it was the wiring and that was all replaced up to the where the line from the poll hits something(can't remember the exact name, I just know its by the meter for the power) before coming in my home. They did the test and said all was good (they even updated my old as heck receiver in living room with a newer one that they are told to replace if they see. No argument there)
I've attached the screenshot I see on the cox site. Also attached the modem status of the channels and such. (Attachment Cox_Modem.PNG) i did notice the uncorrectables in downstream on the channels 18 to 24 was quite high. I'm not sure if this is related to the outage from the other day. I'm going to reset that though to get a better record of it. Since i can't relay email me the info from the modem going to document info manually in an excel worksheet every 24hrs.
My Modem: MODEL: DG2460A
Tier: Ultimate
Any assistance is greatly appreciated!
