Hi, I already got FIOS installed, apparently Verizon called cox and said they had a contract with me and to relequinsh the landline phone number so we could keep with with cox. I even got a email from cox with a work order number saying my phone service has been canceled, but nothing else was. Everything is amazingly fast, internet wise-got gigabit, the TV lineup isn't as good as Cox tho, and they don't have the weather channel which is completely stupid, but I digress. What should I say to make sure I don't get haggled, I had entered a bundled contract that allowed me 30 days to opt out without paying a canellation fee, but that 30th day is getting close, and I have a bad flu and don't feel like talking for hours with the retention department trying to get me back. I just want to cut them off and get the $240 early termination fee off my mind, but verizon already cancelled phone which was required for the bundle, doesn't that mean I've already technically canceled the contract? Before the 30 days, but I still need to cancel cable and internet.
