For the first time in 15 years, I'm actually considering cable TV (or just cutting the cord all together). I've had Dish for years and have been happy, but their latest software upgrade to the Hopper has crippled it's DVR functionality to the point that it is unusable. Their solution is apparently getting people to upgrade to the H3 with a higher monthly fee. If they think I'm going to pay more to maintain the features I have because their poor software broke it, they're smoking some good stuff.
So my question here - has anyone gone from the Hopper system to Cox Contour? If so, how was it - what do you think? One of the main things that kept me away from Cable over the years was the horrible SA boxes they all used - but I've heard alot of good about the Contour system.
