[OK] Cox "Panorama" & TG1682GP2

Called in to sort billing issues out.. Was offered modem upgrade over a year old ubee. Got a new panorama tg1682gp2 shipped to me. It that gives 7 Mbps download and 30 Mbps upload over cat6 ethernet (had 0 issues and 150D/10U on ubee just hours before the modem change) On speedtest.net + multiple different server tests and the golden softlayer dallas test site.. / And weirdly enough wifi gives max 55D/12U on the tg1682gp2. Pings/routing seem fine.-- Called in had it reprovisioned and "refreshed", hard reset with pin etc.. Told to either get a possible charge? For a tech to come out to fix or go in to exchange the modem gateway for a different one at the store when they open Monday. (a good 30 mile drive) Read some posts about the TG1682 having issues with 10/100 devices.. but my ethernet ports on the computer is 1gbps. Figured there might be a firmware update or something and if I left it connected for an hour or two then power cycled the modem so that it might update. No luck. Though maybe I missed something or a coxtech that reads these forums can push some type of magical firmware upgrades ;)
