I have had a strange few months with my network equipment.
1. Upgraded to 300 Mbit service and was maxing out at 220-240Mbit, called support everything looked good at their end. I did some research and it was the Cisco modem with phone capability that they provided to me.
2. Purchased the SB6190 hooked it up and 300Mbit, but webpages loaded with pauses and game latency. Puma 6 issues.
3. Couldn't take it and I bought a SB6183. After about a month I started to notice a strange smell coming from the modem, look on forum and its a know issue.
4. I connected the SB6190 up and ordered a SB8200.
5. The SB8200 arrived today and the level 2 tech could not get it to work, So back to the SB6190 for now.
I did PM one of the Cox Reps on the forum for assistance. I am hoping that person can help.
