I installed a new Netgear CM600 Wednesday night to replace my SB6190. I've performed some latency tests before/after using hping (tcp ping) and graphing the results with Excel (too cheap to pay for pingplotter) and its like night and day between the CM600 and SB6190. My ssh sessions to remote hosts at work seem much more responsive and normal web browsing does too. My http://dslreports.com/tools/puma6 results are solid green now which never happened before with SB6190 - so there is much to like about my new modem.
However, I am suspicious that ~36 hours later I still have zero correctable/uncorrectable codewords. On the SB6190 I would see maybe 5-10 correctable codewords per channel per day. I have no issues with my 16x4 channel 300/30 Mbps (Ultimate) connection with Cox, just seems odd that my connection is 100% error free. I saw someone else brought up this concern in the netgear community forums (thread now closed):
https://community.netgear.com/t5/Cable-Modems-Routers/CM600-error-counts-still-zero-after-three-days...
And also in this closed thread on dslreports:

Just want to make sure CM600 working while still in the return period. I like being able to look at the stats/event log to know if any connection problems are occurring. Already found some minor troubleshooting/information omissions - for example, my firmware was upgraded by Cox but no mention of this in the event log. I miss that my SB6190 reported uptime but my CM600 does not. I can overlook these issues considering the modem works well :)
