[CATV] Contour2 - my experience to date

I'll preface this by saying that I'm likely like many of you; I don't say a lot when I'm pleased but quite vocal when I'm not about services rendered. That being said... I had Contour2 installed in my home back in April. I have the main STB and a client box. Both have worked pretty well up until the last week or so when I noticed (especially later at night) that my box would lock up (not respond to the remote at all but I would have good picture and sound) requiring a reset -- mainly a power recycle -- to kick it back into shape, and even then that wouldn't guarantee a solution. It came to a head last night when from about 7:30pm to 10pm (and within that time frame I was on a tech call will Level 2 support for about an hour) the locking up rendered my TV not usable. Cox, your level 1 support is TERRIBLE. You need to train good people for that position, because the guy I got was clueless from the get go. Since that's the first people your customers hear when they have an issue, it's good to train people to make a good impression...however, I digress. The lady in Level 2 TV support I spoke with was very personable and willing to listen to my complaints. In the end, we couldn't solve the issue over the phone after MANY reboots/resets so I have a tech scheduled for tomorrow. The issue is not happening now, and I'm not sure if its related to the fact that I unplugged the power from the client box, but for now it works. She escalated to Level 3 and told me that it appeared I have some signal issues going on with the host box. I reached out to Cox initially on social media -- they suck there too, as the people that monitor their Facebook page must have to have the C and V keys replaced often on their keyboards from copy/paste that they do. They indicated that over the past week, they've been having some intermittent issues with Contour2. I was just curious if anyone else that has C2 had any problems over the past week as I've described. Sorry if this sounds more like me venting than an actual question.
