TL; DR: Ip IPv6 available for CT residential customers? If so, how to configure it? If not, when is it going to be?
Hey!
Hope someone can help me. So I go to watch Net*lix today just to get an announcement that I might be using a proxy. I am like wtf? I know my network and no proxy. Did some digging on N site and apparently they are blocking he.net IPv6 Tunnels for a suspected proxy...
I have two options:
1. Disable IPv6 completely and go back to the '90s...
2. Get a native address from Cox.
So I log in to my router (Cisco 1921 15.0(1r)M15) and I disable my tunnel, enable dhcp6 and even an autoconfig on the outside facing interface for a good measure and... nothing. :( Log in to my modem (6120) and there is nothing in the logs about IPv6 negotiations. I even enabled cdp on the outside facing interface since I am connected to a Cisco CMTS :) but no dice... So I reloaded the router and went back to using my trusted tunnel. HLP?
